for School Management Pro

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using School Management Pro ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Software. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Engineer Waseem Haider Laghari ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
2. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the Software on devices you own or control
- Use the Software for its intended purpose of school administration and management
- Create backup copies of the Software for archival purposes
3. License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Create derivative works based on the Software
- Copy, distribute, or sublicense the Software to third parties
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the Software
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any licensing or security mechanisms
- Share, transfer, or resell your license key to others
4. Subscription and Payment
Trial Period: The Software may include a free trial period. During the trial, you have access to full functionality. After the trial expires, continued use requires a valid purchase through the Microsoft Store.
Purchase: The Software is available as a one-time purchase through the Microsoft Store. Pricing, payment processing, and refunds are governed by Microsoft Store policies.
Updates: Purchased licenses include free updates and improvements delivered through the Microsoft Store.
5. Data and Privacy
The Software operates on a privacy-first, offline-first architecture. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details. Key points include:
- All data is stored locally on your device
- We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your data
- You are solely responsible for the security and backup of your data
- Optional cloud backup features use your own cloud storage accounts
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
IMPORTANT:
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections regarding disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan.
